These are some of the many companies that have Network Sellers Agreements with Revenue Canada. That means they pay the HST on the full retail price of their products so that their reps don’t have to collect any.
A little known part of these agreements is that the reps can register for HST if they wish, and get a full rebate of the HST they spend on their own expenses.
That rebate can often be more than enough to pay for your bookkeeper, accountant, and tax return for the year.
